BIOGRAPHY: after Pocahontas died,Thomas was raised by his uncle, Henry Rolfe in England.His father went back to Virginia and believed to have been murdered in the Indian uprising of 1622.Later Thomas went back to Virginia and settled in a large estate in Henrico county(later Chesterfield,near the present Petersburg)
